With Brad Johnson as Secretary of State, Montana is one of only seven states in the nation that allow soldiers serving overseas to return their ballots via e-mail if they choose. Montana law allows local elections officials to accept ballots from military overseas voters electronically. Brad says, “That’s the least we can do for the folks who are literally risking their lives to make sure you and I can go to the polls on election day.”
