Here’s a story in the Great Falls Tribune where Secretary of State Brad Johnson urges Montanans not to wait for the last minute to register to vote. Johnson says that while late registration and election day registration allow people to put off registration until the end of the election, it’s a bad idea to do so. Registering early makes things easier on county election workers and more important, it gives you more time to study the issues and candidates. Informed, serious voting is the bedrock of our republic.
